Hammer SST harvest from 20 yards
Lane Ruholl headed out for a hunt one evening last November. After settling into a stand hidden eight fee up in a tree, he heard the sound of footsteps and turned to spot a 10-point buck heading toward a scrape in front of his stand. As the buck approached, Lane was able to maneuver into shooting position before drawing at 20 yards and sending his 100-grain Hammer SST straight behind the buck’s shoulder.
